Give in memory
Giving in memory of a loved one is a special way to honour their life, continuing their legacy and belief in a fairer world for the next generation.

What is an ‘in memory’ donation?
An in memory donation is a meaningful way to honour the memory of your loved one. By making an in memory donation to The Access Project, you will support young people across the country to access education opportunities they deserve, and champion a cause your loved one cared about.
We’re so grateful that you are considering honouring your loved one by supporting The Access Project. By donating, you are helping under-resourced young people change their lives, making them 50% more likely to attend a top university.

Siân’s story
Siân’s loved ones raised over £22,000 for The Access Project in her memory.
“Siân achieved incredible grades throughout school and went onto study Chemistry at Oxford and become a Solicitor at a Silver Circle law firm, Osbourne Clarke, in London. She did all this through a never-ending determination and drive to work hard. She did not have a public school education but was lucky enough to have a hugely loving and supportive family.
“Siân prided herself in helping others to be the best they can be. That’s why we chose to honour Siân through The Access Project.
“Everyone should be given the same opportunities to thrive and if we can bring a little more kindness and fairness into our world and get those kids who like Siân can burn so brightly the same opportunities as others, it would be a beautiful memory.”
David Watson, Siân’s husband

- Skills coaching: We pair up students with professionals who provide them with six skills coaching sessions over the course of the school year

“The best thing about The Access Project is the consistent support system within it, and the opportunities that come with it. I learned much of what I know about life at university thanks to the university visits organised by The Access Project. I met many people with various stories who have helped me gather a sense of belonging as I begin this new chapter of my life.”

Riveen, former student at The Access Project, now studying at the University of Edinburgh
