Volunteer Coach Application Form

Thank you for your interest in joining us as a volunteer coach.

Please note that we have completed our training and onboarding for the 2024/25 academic year.

We welcome your application as a volunteer for our 2025/26 programme. By applying now you will have priority access to onboarding, training and development opportunities starting in Summer 2025.

You will be able to save and return to the application as you require.

You will need to hand:
  • Your education history
  • Two character references (including contact details).

To volunteer with the Access Project you are required to read and commit to the following policies and agreements:
Volunteers must meet the following criteria:
  • Have a University degree, or 3+ years of suitable professional or life experience that equips you to coach the following skills: communication, problem solving, collaboration and planning & organisation
  • Live in the UK and have a permanent UK address
  • Be prepared to attend a relevant training session
  • Provide two people who we can approach for references. (We will also obtain an enhanced DBS check.)
  • Have good written and spoken English
